Theresa Sparks Addresses The Issues

It is a fundamental value of San Francisco that all its residents have an affordable place to live, safe streets, reliable public transportation and the opportunity to enjoy the environment of their City, regardless of their age, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or socio-economic status.

The only way to protect our environment from further damage and to end our reliance on fossil fuels is to fully embrace the concept of clean, renewable energy.

It is the civic and moral responsibility of our City leaders to put people back to work.

It is the right of all people who live, work and visit San Francisco to feel safe in our City.

We MUST correct the structural imbalance that exists in our City’s budget or the City is headed for certain financial disaster.

Small business and tourism are the economic engines that create new jobs in this City. We cannot continue to raise taxes on small businesses or our tourist industry or there will be no small businesses to tax, conventions in our hotels or tourists on our streets.
